From beneath the bile
I'm hopeless at the minute, so forgive the grovelling, sneezing wreck of a post this will doubtlessly be, but I thought I had better write at least SOMETHING or this gargantuan wave of Catholic guilt will wash over me, and I'm not even Catholic, so figure that out... My friend has been using that horribly lazy american-cum-ubiquitous prefix 'like' a lot lately, so I have taken to clobbering him around the head with a John Bull staff and implored him to use 'proper' English. Like, man, ewww, what's that all about, I mean it's not like, I use, like, 'real' English all the time- in fact some of my favourite words are considered profanities- it's just that lazy prefixes like, erm, like, are just syptomatic of a world that's forever in a rush to be somewhere else, and to hell with actually taking the time to fucking describe what you mean. Ah, see my use of a profanity there? That is ok because it embellishes and emphasises the anger I feel. I think. I feel. I think. That old Greek has-been should have said that instead. Ok, I'm dizzy now. With what I don't know. Time for some more lemsip, methinks...
