Stuff, and singing along

I always think I have nothing to write about, but it's not true. I could tell you about the view from my soon-to-be-new-bedroom. I can tell you why I sometimes hate the summer. About the crazy wind and how much fun it is to walk in it. About chocolate icecream or about my new shoes. About my uncle's wedding, about trying to sort my holidays out, about feeling paranoid or about feeling happy. About the way Free Loan Investments sing "I saw the boy I love/kiss another girl/I saw them holding hands/in the park this afternoon" and about how I like to sing it (badly) because it says 'I saw the boy I love' and this a very uplifting thing to think of. I just ignore the rest of the lyrics.

Or I could tell you about sitting in a car, in a car park fairly near the sea while the sun was setting and listening to the radio. I always think the radio only ever plays shit (which is quite accurate anyway) but yesterday I got lucky: I got 'The Kids Are Alright' and 'Last Night' in a row. Now those may not be my favourite songs in the world at all (save for their indiepop versions which I find pretty great) but they're songs I can sing along to. Sitting in a car in a car park fairly near the sea singing along to the radio while the sun is setting is amazing.
