dear friends of the heroes blog, i have sorely neglected you.

i hope you have been well, in the days we have been apart. you have found others that look after you while my attention is elsewhere, and who can blame you? but i want you to ask yourself this... can dimitra ever give you what i could?

clearly she can't. she's a GIRL! and i know you like boys best. lots of smart people do.

this is a good time to return. this is beltane eve. time to celebrate the summer, time to sow seeds. a time for fertility, fruitiness and all sorts of other things beginning with 'f'. a special time, to mark life. to share the feeling that just being here and existing can, sometimes, be beautiful.

i'm sorry that was so brief, blog. you know how us men are. i'll call you. no, i will.
no, really.

keep that beltane beauty. remember that being alive is a marvellous thing. even in those quiet days, when you feel alone, there's something special within you. something that conquered the winter, and survived against the dark times. something that now needs to celebrate the light.
