[My life in the 60's] [Main Index] [In her mind she thinks she'll find another world, and I guess she will]

You have nothing to live up to, you have nothing to live down.
Lyns has just suggested faith should come in bottles and I've decided it's pink, transparent and sparkly; when you look through it, things look magical.
On other news, everyone in the house seems to have decided spring is here. This results in open windows and having to go around the house in a jumper, but it's great nonetheless. It's cold, but not too much and certainly in a non-wintery way. At this time of day (or, rather, night) it's also dark, and dreamy -though that could just be me.
I can sit in the dark with the window open and the spring cd I made for Rachel (and haven't sent yet!) playing, and listen to the Field Mice sing Emma's House and dream away... I don't have much to say about dreaming away, but here's what I wrote to Rachel about the song...
...it is a classic, one of those you see mentioned every so often, and like all Sarah history and possibly all of twee pop, it needs you to love it before you can see why. It takes little bits of not-so-great things and makes them great by putting them together...
Try making a video of it in your head and you'll see what I mean.
