Make Friends Not War...

Hello there,

I missed writing to you last week because... well because I thought you maybe could do without hearing from me for a week. You know the old saying no news is good news etc. This week I have been mainly arguing with stupid inbred people about the war in Iraq; I know people are for it and they are perfectly entitled to this view and arguing is wrong, but if one feels strongly about something surely they are going to defend there views about whatever it is. I think it’s refreshing that this war has brought out a whole new generation of protesters on one hand and pro war people on the other, as I was hearing on the news that our generation wasn’t very politically minded, what nonsense. The marches reminded of the anti war protests in the 60's during the Vietnam War, lots of young people who have the belief that marching can change a politician’s mind and make the world a peaceful one. I’m hoping that our generation can maybe change the politicians’ minds and like our fathers/mothers/grandparents try and make the world a better place for the next generation.
